Loclan and Vigdis, Prince and Princess of Cynagua, do send greeting upon the populace of this noble land,

It is Our greatest and absolute pleasure to be your Prince and Princess. Investiture was delightful and the feast was scrumptious. Thank you to all who came out, played, worked and watched.

The Knights Errant on the following Sunday was spectacular. There were many fighters and several ‘passers by’ asking questions and watching.

Let it be known to all that We find heavy fighting most enjoyable and it pleases Us greatly to better the skills involved with it. Practice is an excellent time for Us to fight and converse. On occasion the artisans bring projects with them and it is enlightening to have them discuss what they are working on. Fighting and the Arts are two major parts of what We do that attract newcomers. We should be mindful that a display of this at our practices may potentially increase interest in who we are as a group. Her Highness and Myself are often at Our local Golden Rivers practice on Wednesday nights. We hope to see an increase in people there and at the other practices as well. Whenever possible, We also plan on attending as many of the Knights Errant practices and regular weekly practices throughout Cynagua.

In order to recruit more Fighters, and would-be Artisans, it would be wonderful if we, as a Principality, could get together some loaner suits of armor. We have had numerous people approach our practices and say “I’d like to try that” and we have nothing for them to put on. So, in light of that, we are asking all Fighters (and non fighters) to bring old, unused, unwanted armor to your local practice. We have many talented Armorers that can make repairs to almost anything. I have been told we have a “Rusty Key” that is specifically for loaner armor, but I haven’t seen it at practice, which is where it needs to be every week.

Our pending event schedule is busy. In the near future We intend on putting up a tentative schedule of events that We plan to attend. If you would like to participate in Our “Court/Guard-for-the-Day Program, please contact our Head of Court, Catherine de Mailly (aka Kitty).

As always, We remain in service to the Principality of Cynagua and Her populace,

Loclan, Princeps
Vigdis, Principessa
