Greetings unto the populace of Cynagua...
As seneschal, I am honored to serve this principality, the Coronet and the populace of Cynagua. I would like to thank Their Highnesses for the opportunity to serve Them and Their principality as seneschal but I would also like to thank each of you for your help and cooperation. Since joining the SCA some twelve years ago, I have been a proud and loyal Cynaguan and I look forward to the next two years with pride as we work together to make Cynagua the greatest principality in the Known World.
Apart from my many ministerial duties, I am working towards locating a site for Cynagua-Mist War. When I stepped up as seneschal this past Saturday, we did not have a site “nailed-down” for this coming September’s war. As such, I’m working to locate a site and I am sure that we will be able to secure a site by August 1st at 5:00 p.m., the due date for “Page” copy. I cannot promise you that the site will be perfect, but we will all do the best we can in locating the best site possible.
In the future, if you have ideas on potential sites, please bring them to my attention. I am always interested in developing new sites, both indoor and and outdoor sites. To be honest, I am really looking for a solid war site for next Autumn’s Cynagua-Mist War in November of ’09; I have a beautiful “possibility” in the center of this principality; however, as it only becomes available in November, we cannot use it this year.
